Overnotch · Files
A shelf for the file you’re moving.
Drop a file on the notch and it waits there. Preview it, AirDrop it, convert it or summarise it — then drag it wherever it was going.
Try it — drag a file onto the notch, then convert or summarise it.
The shelf
Park it in the notch.
Drag a file up to the notch and the shelf opens under it. Let go and it waits there while you find where it's going — then drag it out again, into a mail, a chat or a folder, without minimising a single window.
Right there
Preview, open or AirDrop it.
Every file on the shelf is one click from Quick Look, from its usual app or from the AirDrop sheet. The things you'd otherwise open Finder for.
Convert
Change the format, offline.
HEIC to JPEG, PNG to PDF, a PDF into one image per page, a video into just its sound, a Word document into plain text. Pick the format and the result lands on the shelf — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Summarise · Pro
The gist of a document, without opening it.
Drop a contract, a brief or your meeting notes and Apple Intelligence writes you the short version, on your Mac. Copy it and move on.

- Private
