Overnotch · Timers
Time, where you can see it.
Timers and a stopwatch that live in the notch — a ring on one side of the camera, the time on the other — and step aside when something else needs the space.
Try it — let the timer run out, or put some music on and watch it step aside.
In the notch
A ring, and the time left.
A running timer sits around the camera the way it does in an iPhone's Dynamic Island: the ring draining on one side, the minutes and seconds on the other. Nothing to open to check how long is left.
Start one
Start it, and it's already there.
Set a timer and the notch picks it up the moment it starts counting — right beside your music if something's playing.
Out of the way
It steps aside. It doesn't disappear.
When music or a match takes the notch, the timer moves into a small pill beside it and keeps counting. Click it to get back to your timers.
Stopwatch
Count up, too.
A stopwatch works the same way: the ring goes round once a minute, and every lap is counted.
Good to know
- Free
- Timers are free for good — they keep working after the 14-day trial, with no account.
- Never muted
- Profiles decide what can interrupt you, but timers and calls always get through — even in Minimal.
- Any Mac
- On a Mac without a notch, the same ring and time float at the top of the screen.
